Small projects can be a big success

The elementary school in Slivenec outside of Prague was in a state of disrepair: wasteful energy consumption, a shabby interior and a lack of facilities for both students and teachers. Thanks to support from EU funds, the municipality was able to purchase new windows, insulation and a ventilation system to improve air quality. The district saved 90% on heating costs and nearly a third on total energy consumption. It's a small example of money well spent. Find out more about this and similar projects at #wellspent
