Vladlena joined Bankwatch in 2007 as officer for the Central Asia and Caucasus programme after being involved in the work of the Ukrainian environmental NGOs.

She received degrees from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (MS, 2006) and Central European University, Budapest, Hungary (MS, 2007).
