Sven joined Bankwatch in April 2009. He is editor of the website and the Bankwatch blog and also takes care of Bankwatch's email campaigning.

Before Bankwatch, Sven has been active in cultural, development and human rights organizations in India and Poland. He also worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Development and Peace in Duisburg, Germany, focusing on human security issues and the responsibility to protect.

Sven holds a degree in social sciences and an intermediate diploma in economics.
